Dr Rajesh a terrific actor in emotion filled roles in Kannada cinema has completed five decades in cinema for this year. He fondly remembers his mentor Hunsur Krishnamurthy on the sets of his 50th year cinema – the one Rajesh is acting after getting doctorate honor from Karnataka University Dharwad.

When Rajesh got the doctorate he had decided not to act in sundry films in his career. Rajesh appeared in notable films like Gange Gowri, Sathi Sukanya,  Broker Bhismachari, Kappu Bilipu, Eradu Mukha, Brindavana, Boregowda Bengalurg Bandha, Mareyadha Deepavali, Beluvaladha Madilalli, Sosethanda Sowbhagya, Kaliyuga and others.

Senior Kannada actor joined the list of horary doctorates like Dr Rajakumar, Dr Vishnuvardhana, Dr Leelavathi, Dr Ashwath and Dr Girish Kasaravalli were honored from various Universities. Dr Jayamala is given doctorate for her study on women welfare.

Pointing his observation on the Samskriti, good story, Bhavanthamaka, Sandesha filled film ‘Vasundhara’ he plays an important role. What was in lakhs is now in crores in cinema today he recalled. I am trupta and Santrupta he says.
